    “Fannie Mae didn’t have an obligation of care acknowledged by Pennsylvania legislation on the time of the alleged incident to State Farm, and the claims towards it should be dismissed as a matter of legislation.”

    The phrases of the settlement between the 2 firms weren’t disclosed, in keeping with a report by Law360, with counsel for each events declining to remark.

    State Farm’s newest authorized growth comes after it filed a patent lawsuit against Amazon in November 2022.

    In a grievance filed in Delaware federal court docket, State Farm alleged that Amazon copied expertise utilized in its Sundial senior healthcare help product, together with its check-in and monitoring options, its “circle of mates” characteristic for coordinating caregiver obligations, and a chatbot characteristic.
